NEW RELEASE – The Thirteenth Power, by Major-General Richard Hilton
Dear subscriber,
You are receiving this newsletter because you subscribed to updates on Wylfings.com. Thank you for your support!
We are delighted to announce a new release, now available on https://wylfings.com/the-thirteenth-power/. We provide some information about this title below for your consideration.
The Thirteenth Power: The Middle East and the World Situation
by Major-General Richard Hilton
From the author of Imperial Obitiary - Back in print after nearly 70 years, The Thirteenth Power provides a modern history of the Middle East up until the Suez Crisis from a British perspective. This masterful piece of historiography not only provides invaluable, often overlooked historical context for modern geopolitics, it also provides a few more vital puzzle pieces on the decline and ultimate fall of the British Empire. We highly recommend it if you are a fan of last month’s highlight, Imperial Obituary.
Additional topics covered in the book include Zionism and its effects on Britain, the corrosive effects of International Finance, and ideas of a “One World Government”.
The Thirteenth Power has been a particularly difficult book to access. It had never been digitized, could not be bought in printed form, and could only be accessed at one of a few dozen libraries worldwide. No more! We are proud to have been able to bring it back to circulation in a restored edition, and we hope you enjoy!
Additional updates
In addition to this release, highlights since our last letter include
- We released the A New Order, a Scyldings Events book for the Witan 2024. If you missed the scyldings.com conference last year you can now access the brilliant speeches given at the event. Contributions found nowhere else from Academic Agent, Carl Benjamin, Ed Dutton, Apostolic Majesty, Aydin Paladin, and many more: https://wylfings.com/a-new-order/
- In a new partnership with Corncrake Mag, certain magazines from the Corncrake will be available for purchase on Wylfings.com for a limited time. Corncrake’s L&A Catalogue is already available. Within its pages you can find the very best books and artworks produced in the last year by unaffiliated writers, artists and publishers: https://wylfings.com/the-l-a-catalogue/
- We are branching out into the realm of translations! Our first translation is a short book by Gaetano Mosca called What is Mafia. First delivered as a lecture in 1900, Gaetano Mosca’s What is Mafia offers one of the earliest sociopolitical analyses of the phenomenon of Mafia. In a concise book Mosca examines the decentralized power structure of organized crime in Sicily at the turn of the century, in our opinion quite an interesting read. This is the first part of a series of books we will be producing, which will be translations of shorter works by Gaetano Mosca previously not available in English. What is Mafia is available already here: https://wylfings.com/what-is-mafia/
- Antipolitics Vol 1 – by John Sweeney and Evelyn Grant is available to order in hardback version, something many of you have been asking us for. Stock is limited, but more is on the way. If you would like a hardback copy you can get it here: https://wylfings.com/antipolitics-vol-1/ - The authors themselves are also accepting requests for signed hardbacks.
As always, thank you for your support and attention. We hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Kind regards,
Wylfings Publishing
