Dear subscriber,

You are receiving this newsletter because you subscribed to updates on Wylfings.com. Thank you for your support!

Wylfings Publishing started in 2025, with Antipolitics and the Richard Hilton series making for an exciting debut. In 2026, we aim to continue this journey, expanding our catalogue with new and exciting titles, brought back from obscurity to where they belong.

A short overview of some of the upcoming titles is provided here.

Bolsheviks
by Mikhail Konstantinovich Peruvkhin

Mikhail Pervukhin, an old bolshevik fellow traveller, escapes to Italy, learns Italian and pulls the European reader into the horror of the End of Russia and her new beginning. Going over all the main figures of the Russian Revolution, the encroaching dread exterminating the life from these vast lands and the vultures that feast on the carcass of a civilization now dead, now clawing through the mud and the roots of doubt and into history once more!

Who were the bolsheviks? What happened during the revolution? Who were the major players and where did they come from? What happens when you lose? All these questions shall be answered in Bolsheviks.

This book was originally published in Italian in 1918 under the title I Bolscevichi. This is the first ever translation of this work into English. The book also comes with interior artwork by S. D. Smith.

Expected release date, January 19th 2026.

Major-General Richard Hilton – completing the series

Major-General Richard Hilton himself served in the British Army in the North-West Frontier Province for twelve years (the frontier of the British Raj, on the border with Afghanistan). Therefore, he was intimately familiar with the region and its people.  In the first quarter of 2026, we will be bringing back into print two books written by the old Major-General, completing the Richard Hilton series.

In The North-West Frontier, A True Story for Boys, Major-General Richard Hilton provides an exciting and digestible history of this region and of the British colonialism in India, seeking to answer “Why were we there?” and “What good did we do?”. This book was originally written as a children’s book (target at ages 7-14), and as such is written in simpler language, but it still provides an exciting story for all ages. The book also comes with illustrations, which have been restored by S. D. Smith. Originally published in 1957.

The Indian Mutiny, a Centenary History provides the full history of the Indian Mutiny, a key event in Indian colonial history, focusing on the key events and the main characters on both sides, bringing this critical event in British colonial history back to life. Originally published in 1957.
